Hiro Japan Xpress is looking for Cooks in West Vancouver

 

Job Title: Cook

Salary: $17.00/hr

Working Hours: 40hrs per week, Full-time, Permanent

Position Available: 2

Benefit: 4% Vacation fee

Work Location: FC-11 2002 Park Royal South, West Vancouver, BC V7T 2W4

 

Main duties:

-Prepare and cook a wide range of Japanese dishes

-Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

-Plan menu, determine the size of food portions and estimate food costs and requirements

-Ensure the operation level of profitability and customer satisfaction

-Clean kitchen and work area

-Perform related work as required.

 

Requirements:

-Completion of Secondary School

-English is required

-Several (2-3 years) years of commercial cooking experience

OR

Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program for cooks

OR

Completion of a college or other programs in cooking
