Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is seeking two Assistant Cooks for three locations: Robson Street location, Broadway Strert location, and Richmond location.

Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week), $16.75 per hour. Plus extended health and bonus are available based on sales performance.

Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9am and 11pm as required.

Duties:
– Cook everything on the menu;
– Create ramen soup bases;
– Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness;
– Supervise all food preparation;
– Provide training to new kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese ramen techniques,
and other matters.

Qualifications:

– Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;
– Previous experience with Japanese ramen cuisine is an asset;
– Japanese language ability is an asset;
– English language ability required;
