Job Description:

Job Title: Baker

Employer: HOPE MOUNTAIN CAFÉ LTD. dba Hope Mountain Cafe

Work Location: Same as above

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (Part-time available)

Hours of work: 30 -40 hours per week

Wage: $17.00/hour

Number of Positions: 3

Benefits: 4% of gross salary OR 10 days paid vacation

Language: English

 

Job Duties:

·         Prepare dough and bake various baked goods according to existing recipes

·         Ensure quality of products and meet established standards

·         Bake mixed doughs and batters for pastries

·         Bake, decorate and frost cakes or other bread

·         Check the production schedule to determine the type and quantity of bread to produce

 

Job Requirements:

– Experience: 2~ 3 years of commercial baking experience or completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program for bakers or completion of a college or other program for bakers is required

– Education: Completion of Secondary school
