Horang Restaurant is Korean inspired restaurant and bar in Nanaimo. We served various fusion Korean food as well as drinks, desserts etc. We are looking for passionate professional cooks for our kitchen.

 

Salary: $19.00/Hourly

Job Type: Full-Time, 40hrs/wk, Permanent

Benefit:  4% of gross salary

Position Available: 3

Main duties:

–          Prepare and cook complete meals according to customers’ preferences

–          Supervise and train kitchen helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food

–          Prep ingredients and maintain food inventory

–          Comply with food safety rules and regulations

–          Clean the kitchen and sanitize cooking equipment

–          Set up the kitchen operations

 

Requirements:

-Minimum 2 years of cook experience in cooking is needed

-Completion of Secondary School

-Completion of a 2-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR Completion of a college or other programs in cooking

– Previous experience preparing Ramen or any Japanese cuisine

-English is required
