Pho Huong Viet restaurant is looking for full-time cooks to join our busy restaurant located in Southwest of Calgary.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend, To be determined

Hourly Wage: $17

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 3855 17 Ave SW, Calgary, Alberta, T3C 1J7

Duties and Responsibilities:

•            Prepare and cook individual dishes and complete meals according to restaurant recipes

•            Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance upon the request

•            May plan menus, determine the size of food portions

•            Inspect kitchen properly and regularly

•            Check the quantity and quality of received supplies and ingredients

•            Maintain inventory and records of food ingredients, supplies and equipment

•            Train new kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking once needed

•            Other duties as assigned by the owner/kitchen manager

Requirements:

•            Secondary school (senior high) graduation

•            Previous (1-2 years) work experience in commercial kitchen settings

•            Flexibility, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player; Time management
