We, iCoffee Services Inc. o/a Second Cup, are looking for cooks to join our busy team in Calgary!
Position: Cook

Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position
Wage: $17.00 per hour for 30-40 hours a week at 52 weeks a year
Location: 500 17th Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2S 0B1
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook complete menus according to recipes
· Maintain inventory and records of food ingredients
· Check the quantity and quality of received products
· Estimate expected food consumption and requirement
· May place purchase orders and/or requisitions for procuring necessary, food ingredients, supplies, etc. required for menu preparation
· Keep kitchen and food handling area clean with proper regulation and procedure
· Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
· Train kitchen helpers/food counter attendants in preparation, and handling of food
Position Requirements and Qualifications
Secondary School Diploma
Previous work experience (1-7 months) in commercial kitchen settings
Strong organization and efficient interpersonal skills
Team player – positive, reliable and motivated
Work conditions and physical capabilities
Fast-paced environment; Physically demanding; Repetitive tasks; Standing for extended periods; Work under pressure
