We, IBII Construction Inc, are looking for passionate candidates for the position of a full-time Painter.

 

Position: Painter (NOC 73112)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible Hours

Hourly Wage: $25-26

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: #11-5970 Island Hwy W Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 2E1

 

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

•        Prepare walls and other surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes

•        Mask-off surfaces with paper or plastic to ensure protection during painting

•        Mix and thin paint to obtain desired colour and texture

•        Measure, cut and apply wallpaper or fabric to walls

•        Set up scaffolding and swing stages, and secure rigging

•        Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces.

•        Inspecting surfaces for defects and implementing appropriate fixes

•        Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition

 

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

•       Completion of secondary school

•       Training will be provided; work experience or certificate of apprenticeship program or college diploma related to painting as an asset

•       Ability to work from heights

•       Client focus, Team player, Reliability

 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

•        Physically demanding

•        Bending, crouching, kneeling

•        Attention to detail
