Health Care Assistant
ILAPOGU INVESTMENTS INC DBA Oriole Lodge Family Care Home located in Abbotsford, BC is looking for 4 Health Care Assistant to join our team as soon as possible.
Job Description
• Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
• Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse
• Supervise patients’ exercise routines
• Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs
• Bathe, dress and groom patients;.
• Answer call signals
• Feed or assist in feeding; Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
• Administer first aid in emergency situations
• Accompany patients on outside recreational activities and perform other duties
related to patient care and comfort
• Serve meal trays and feed patients
• Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Supply and empty bed pans
Job Requirement
• Secondary School education is required. On Job Training will be provided.
• Successful graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Eligible for registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.

Salary: $29.50/Hour (40 hours/ Week)
