Job Description:

Employer:          J.SHIN, CPA INC.

Title:                 Accounting Technician

Work Location: 309-4501 North Rd, Burnaby, BC V3N 4R7

Business Address: Same as above

Wage:               $25.00 per Hour

Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week

Employment Term: Full-time, Permanent

Benefit:             4% gross salary

Extended Health Plan after 3 months of probation period

Job Duties:

·         Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

·         Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, which provide a snapshot of the clients’ financial health and performance.

·         Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills.

·         Ensure that the clients are in compliance with all tax laws and regulations, and that all tax payments and filings are made on time.

·         Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports.

·         Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents for clients

 

Job Requirements:

Education:         Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience:        Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of

two years of a recognized professional accounting program or courses in accounting or bookkeeping

OR,

At least ONE-TWO years of experience in related field is required.
