Overview

Jade Stone Ltd. is seeking an experienced Receiving Supervisor to join our team in our Calgary SE industrial zone location.

This is a permanent, full-time position; 40 hours per week; $25.64 per hour. Benefits include extended medical and dental insurance.

Duties:
– Plan, organize, arrange, direct and oversee logistics;
– Supervise, coordinate, monitor and schedule activities of the receiving department personnel;
– Maintaining accurate and updated warehouse records;
– Oversee scheduling and unloading of vehicles and goods;
– Train new and existing employees in their roles and responsibilities;
– Create employee schedules; Implement policies and standards for transportation and storage of goods;
– Prepare and submit progress and other monthly reports;
– Ensure compliance with regulations;
– Coordinate activities with other departments;
– Evaluate the performance of personnel and provide feedback to the manager.

Qualifications:
– Completion of secondary school is required;
– At least 2 years of previous experience in a related field;
– Previous experience in supervising an asset;
– Strong computer, mathematical and logical skills;
– Attention to detail;
– English language ability is required;
