Job title: Food Service Supervisor

Wage: $18.65 to $19.00 hourly per hour for 30-40 hours a week

Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position

Location: 2730 141 St SW, Edmonton, AB T6W 3Y9

Expected Start Date: ASAP

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Ensure the food and services delivered meet quality control standards as per Alberta Health Services;

·         Supervise on food and services related matters, including scheduling and work assigning;

·         Assist in customer issues and provide excellent customer services on a daily basis;

·         Estimate and order supplies and to provide efficient restaurant service when needed;

·         Obtain and maintain stocks, repairs, sales and wastage records;

·         Organize daily opening or closing activities, including cleaning, dishwashing, food storage refilling, etc.;

·         Follow sanitation guidelines;

·         Assist in the training of new employees.

·         Other duties assigned by the manager/owner

 

Work conditions and physical capabilities

·         Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods;

 

Position Requirements and Qualifications

·         Completion of high school education; additional training/certificate in a related field as an asset

·         More than 2 years of work experience in food service industry

·         Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant/catering service setting

·         Familiarity with Asian/Japanese Cuisine

·         Client focus; Efficient interpersonal skills; Flexibility; Team player
