We are hiring an Assistant Cook. We provide Japanese-style foods and we are the one of the famous Japanese restaurants in this area.

Job Title: Assistant Cook

Salary: $17.62 per hour

Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full-time & Permanent

Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation per year

Job duties:

– Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes as directed by cooks.

– Prepare and cook Korean & Japanese foods such as BBQ, Teriyaki, Bibimbap, Udon, Rolls etc.

– Cook food according to recipes.

– Prepare and wash ingredients.

– Stock and maintain ingredients in refrigerator.

 

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school

Experience: No formal experience is required as on job training is provided; however, experience is an asset. 6 months to 1 year experience is preferred.
