Overview

Kingyo Japanese Izakaya is seeking two Head Cooks for our Downtown Vancouver location.

Permanent, Full-time; $23.93   per hour; 30-40 hours per week. Extended health and dental benefits after completion of 3 months’ probation period, plus bonus depending on sales performance.

Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 7:30am and 12am as required.

Duties:

• Prepare ingredients;
• Prepare sushi and other Japanese food items (everything on the menu);
• Supervise kitchen staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;
• Japanese language ability is an asset;
• English language ability is required.
