Overview

Kitanoya Marketing Corp. is seeking five (5) Cooks for all their Guu restaurants in Vancouver, BC.

Permanent, Full-time, 6-8 hours per day; 30-40 hours per week; $18.50 per/hour. Bonus based on sales performance. Standard shift for this position could be scheduled anytime between 10am and 1am as required.

 

Shifts may be scheduled at the following five locations:

1.     Guu Toramasa, 757 Seymour St., Vancouver, BC

2.     Guu Davie, 1239 Davie St., Vancouver, BC

3.     Guu with Otokomae, 375 Water St., Vancouver, BC

4.     Guu with Garlic, 1698 Robson St., Vancouver, BC

5.     Guu Thurlow, 838 Thurlow St., Vancouver, BC

Duties:
– Cook everything on the menu;
– Prepare ingredients and other Japanese food;
– Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness and supervise all food preparation.

Qualifications:
– Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a commercial cook;
– English language ability is required;

– Japanese language ability is an asset.
