Overview

Kizuna Sauces Inc. is seeking a Central Kitchen Manager for their Penticton, BC location.

Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week), $34.62 per hour. Extended health available after three month probation period. Bonus is available based on sales performance.

Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 8am and 8pm as required.

 

Duties:

– Opening and closing the kitchen, as needed;

– Attend management meetings for new menu and promotional items;

– Manage kitchen staff and assign duties for large-scale catering events;

– Establish operating procedures for producing company products, such as salad dressings and soup stocks;

– Interview potential employees for new positions;

– Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and food wastage, estimate and submit requests for new ingredients and supplies for kitchen operation;

– Ensure that food and service meet sanitation, health, and quality control standards.

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
– Completion of secondary school required;
– Minimum 2 years of previous experience in food preparation or service;
– Previous experience as a supervisor is an asset;
– English language ability required;
– Japanese language ability is an asset.
