Overview

Kokoro Foods Inc. ( dba Kokoro Ramen)  is seeking a Cook for their Vancouver location.

Full-time, permanent; $17.50 per hour; 30-40 hours per week. Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9:30am and 10pm, as required. Dental and extended health benefits offered. Bonus available based on sales performance.

Duties:

– Cooking everything on the menu;
– Creating ramen soup bases and other Japanese food items (everything on the menu);
– Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness;
– Giving training to cooking and kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese ramen techniques, and other matters.

Qualifications:

– Minimum 1year of previous experience as a commercial cook;
– Japanese language ability is an asset;
– English language ability required;
– Previous experience with Japanese ramen cuisine is an asset.
