Job Description
La Patisserie Fine Cakes & Pastries Inc., located at 300 Gage Ave #11, Kitchener, ON N2M 3C8, Canada, is currently looking for one (1) permanent, full-time baker qualified. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
– Position: Baker
– Vacancy: One (1) vacancy
– Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
– Compensation: $17.00~19.00 per hour
– Working hours: 35 hours per week
– Benefits: 10 days paid vacation or 4 % vacation pay of gross salary
Job Duties
– Produce pies, breads, rolls, sweet goods, muffins, cookies, and cakes, as well as icings and frostings, according to recipes
– Prepare batters and doughs and bake them
– Decorate cakes and other baked goods with frosting
– Assure timely and efficient completion of all baked goods
– Be available to start work early in the morning with minimal supervision
– Make sure that machinery and equipment adhere to health and safety regulations by operating them and inspecting them
– Monitor baking supplies inventory and stock rotation

Requirements
– Completion of secondary school
– 2 years and less than 3 years of commercial baking work experience (or) previous work experience as a baker and completion of a college or other program for bakers combined (or) completion of several years of apprenticeship program for bakers
