Overview
A small retail shop is looking for an experienced and hard-working accountant clerk to join the team.
The Essential Function/Responsibilities:
- Maintain filing and record systems
- Enter and verify transaction in a ledger or computer system or using manual method
- Manage various accounts such as payable and receivable, payroll, purchase, sales, inventory etc.
- Organize and maintain inventory, update inventory for new goods received
- Invoice clients
- Prepare checks
- Monitor shared email boxes and provide proper actions with regards to inquiries
- Calculate costs of expenses
- Calculate sales
- Prepare trial balance
- Calculate and prepare documents related to various accounts
- Prepare period statements or reports
- Other related duties as requested
Qualifications and required skills:
- At least secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years
- Accurate, organized, reliability, dependability, judgement, time management
Job type: full-time, permanent, 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
Work location: 1808 hwy14, Windsor, NS, B0N 2T0
Compensation and benefit:
CAD$16/hour; Extended medical insurance;
