Title of the position: MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISSTANT

 

Job duties:

Schedule and confirm clients’ appointments through phone calls or in person inquiries

Directs patients to the clinic area for treatment or active rehabilitation program

Receive and communicate messages for medical staff and patients

Interview and assist patients to complete forms and documents

Complete and directly bill insurance and other claim forms

Establish and maintain various internal office administrative support procedures such as document tracking and filing.

Determine and establish orderly office procedures and routines

May supervise and train other staff in procedures and clinic concerns

Invoicing of clinical records, certification, statement of accounts and other billing concerns addressed between client and office concerned

 

Terms of employment: FULL-TIME

The language of work: English required, and Tagalog would be helpful

Wage: CAD $23/hour

Required education: Completion of secondary education is required; Completion of a one- or two-year college program or other specialized courses for secretaries or medical secretaries is required.
