Now, we are looking for a permanent, full-time Sushi Chef to join us.
Job Duties:
· Prepare and make various sushi rolls, sashimi, onigiri, and other Japanese dishes according to company standards and customer preferences.
· Ensure all ingredients are fresh, follow food safety regulations, and maintain strict control over the quality of the food.
· Regularly check and manage inventory to ensure sufficient supplies, and replenish ingredients as needed.
· Keep the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, adhere to hygiene standards, and prevent cross-contamination.
· Use ingredients efficiently to minimize waste and control production costs.
· Train new employees to ensure they are familiar with work processes and safety procedures.
· Follow company and government safety standards to prevent workplace accidents.
· Regularly check and maintain sushi-making equipment to ensure it operates properly.
Qualification:
· Prior related experience is required.
· Secondary school education is preferred.
· Strong communication skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Availability to work during evenings, holidays, and weekends.
