We thrive to expand our market in the Middle East and we are looking for an experienced proposal and communication specialist who know the oil and gas industries in the Middle East.
The Technical Proposal Writer is responsible for the coordination, development, organization, review, and finalization of compelling proposals and related opportunity capture documents.
As a technical proposal writer, you are responsible for the development and submission of prequalification and proposal responses and related documents and presentations.
This includes 1) Development of compliant, accurate, and compelling response narratives and graphics; and 2)Coordination and administration of proposals, schedules, kick-offs, reviews, document control, electronic and print
submittals, and response data.
Responsibilities
● Introduction on our innovative solutions to oil and gas industries including Arch-Lock™ tunneling system, Lock-Block™ Silo system, and Lock-Block™ Dome storage system, and Rod-lock™ retaining wall solutions.
● Analyze and interpret solicitation documents and requirements (RFQ -request for quotation- , RFI -request for information- , RFP -request for proposal-) to prepare and develop comprehensive response templates (compliance matrix, proposal outlines, schedule)
● Organize and may facilitate strategy and storyboarding sessions to incorporate concepts and data into deliverable documents
● Responsible for leading other proposal and graphics staff and/or partners in developing deliverables
● Collaborate and interview engineers, designers, and others to secure information for various writing assignments to prepare compliant and compelling written proposal content
● Interviews executives and conducts research to produce accurate and comprehensive proposal responses and messaging
● Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and integrate compelling graphics to convey proposed solutions
● Lead or assist in the total production and delivery for on-time delivery of proposals (electronic and hard copy)
● Support the presentation phase of pursuit, coordinate graphics, and help refine key messages
● Assist with maintaining, monitoring, and managing proposal database, files, and systems through appropriate information management systems
● Collaborates with business line management, business development, operations, and executive team to develop golden threads and win strategies, incorporating throughout proposal deliverables
● Creates compelling post-bid presentation materials
● Supports and/or drives continuous improvement efforts across departments including process improvement, development, and customization of material by market and/or delivery method, etc. Qualifications
● At least 3 years of communication and/or public relations experience in oil and gas (or related) industries in the Middle East, emphasizing qualifications-based collaborative delivery projects
● Excellent understanding of oil and gas industry markets and operations system in the Middle East
● At least 3 years of proposal and writing experience in managing and coordinating projects
• Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop
• Skilled at collaborating with and interviewing executives, engineers, construction managers, legal, designers, and others to secure information for various writing assignments
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and active listening skills
• Strong emotional intelligence
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well with professionals from various backgrounds
• Ability to manage multiple projects to consistently meet high standards and be attentive to quality
• Driven for results and deadlines
