Hours per Week: 30 Hours with availability to work during the day, evenings and weekends (flexible hours)
Salary: $34.50 per hour
Language: English, Spanish is an asset
Education: College degree/diploma
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a competitive Padel player and/or coach
Work Site Environment: The Pad Padel Club – sports facility with multiple courts, training rooms, and gym equipment for physical conditioning. Local sports club in an urban area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
Carry out management duties
Coordinate, develop and implement various coaching, training, and social programs at The Pad
Develop well planned competitive schedules and programs for padel players
Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions and game strategies
Motivate and prepare padel players for matches and competitions
Participate, schedule and hold customized coaching and instruction clinics and junior and adult padel sessions/clinics
Analyze, evaluate and observe players’ performance
Teach fundamental and advanced techniques for playing padel, including stroke mechanics, footwork and body positioning
Stay knowledgeable about new coaching techniques, rules and trends in padel
Ensure a safe playing environment
Representing The Pad by competing in padel tournaments of the highest level to drive top players to the club
Participate in marketing activities to promote The Pad via ad campaigns, social media, word of mouth, etc.
EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZATION
Padel Coaching certification required
