Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position
Wage: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour for 30-40 hours a week
Location: 17-7400 Macleod Tr. SE, Calgary, AB T2H 0L9
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook complete menus according to recipes
· Maintain inventory and records of food ingredients
· Check the quantity and quality of received products
· Estimate expected food consumption and requirement
· May place purchase orders and/or requisitions for procuring necessary, food ingredients, supplies, etc. required for menu preparation
· Keep kitchen and food handling area clean with proper regulation and procedure
· Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
· Train kitchen helpers in preparation, and handling of food
Position Requirements and Qualifications
Secondary School Diploma
Previous work experience (1-7 months) in commercial kitchen settings
Team player
Work conditions and physical capabilities
Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks
