Job Requirements

·       Languages: English

·       Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

·       Experience: 2 years

·       Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, Organized, Flexibility, Team player, Hardworking, physically demanding, Hand-eye co-ordination, Attention to detail, Repetitive tasks, Fast-paced environment, Overtime required.

·       Area of Specialization: Custom fabrication.

·       Security and safety: Criminal record check, Drug test.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Interpret welding process specifications.

·       Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.

·       Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

·       Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.

·       Determine weldability of materials.

·       Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

·       Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line.

·       Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.

·       Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.

·       Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.

·       Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC).

·       Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

·       Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal.

Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
