Pioneer on the Run – Retail Store Supervisor

Pioneer on the Run is actively looking to hire one (1) Retail Store Supervisor for a permanent, full-time position to work at our Peterborough, Ontario location.

Pioneer on the Run is a Gas station and Convenience store.

Job Duties: The Retail Store Supervisor shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following job tasks:

Posting daily sales on our central portal.
Fuel entries into our database.
Placing orders with vendors.
Receiving deliveries and posting the invoices into our PDI system.
Audits: weekly , monthly and quarterly.
Taking care of deliveries stocking procedures.
Ensuring planograms are updated and pricing is correct.
Assigning job duties to the cashiers.
Training new staff.
Updating store with new promotions.
Dealing with customer queries and complaints.
Making schedules for staff.
Hiring new staff.
Preparing work sheets of staff.
Making payroll sheet and communicate them with the accountants.
Skills, Experience and Education Required:

●      1+ years’ experience in inventory management and supervisory position

●      1-2 years’ experience in retail and customer service, preferably at a gas station or convenience store

●      Completion of post-secondary education

●      Diploma or degree is considered an asset

●      Fluent in English

Benefits: Vacation Pay

Wage & Hours: $19.33 – $20.00  per hour, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
