LUBRICATION TECHNICIAN – AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE AND REPAIR

Location: Mobil 1 Lube Express, 397 Midridge Dr. S.E. Calgary, AB T2X 2X7

Salary:  $20.00 / Hour

Vacancies: 1

Terms of employment:   Permanent employment, Full time, 30 to 40 Hours / Week

Start date:  As soon as possible:

Employment conditions: On call, may work overtime, morning, day, evening, weekend, night, flexible hours

Languages:  English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work site environment:  Confined spaces, dusty, noisy, non-smoking, odours

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Personal suitability: Flexibility, Judgement, Reliability, Team player

Installation specialization:   Commercial vehicle wheels, Exhaust system, Mufflers, Radiators, Shock absorbers, Springs, Tires

Tasks:

·         Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids

·         Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed

·         Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks or heavy equipment

·         Grease booms, pulleys, buckets and other components of heavy equipment

·         Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers or radiators

·         Provide on-site services

·         Repair and balance tires

·         Replace oil, air and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment

Security and safety:    Criminal record check

•  Physically demanding
• Standing for extended periods
