Mr. Sushi Londale is looking for an experience cook to join our team.

Job Title: Cook (Permanent)

Employer: Mr. Sushi Lonsdale Inc.

Working Location: 105 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC, V7M 2E7
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week (Full-time)

Wage: $17.00 to $20.00 / per hour (to be negotiated) (Overtime will be paid at time and a half after 8 hrs/day and after 40 hrs/wk)

Benefit: 10 days paid vacation or 4 % vacation fee

Position Available: 1

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

‒        Prepare and cook menu items according to our specifications and recipes.

‒        Handle daily food quality, quantity control, and temperature of fridges.

‒        Maintain inventory and records of foods, supplies, and equipment.

‒        Order food, supplies, and equipment as required.

‒        Keep the kitchen and work area clean all the time.

‒        Uphold and maintain food safety, high standards of sanitation and cleanliness.

 

Qualification:

–  Completion of a college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a 1 year program in cooking or equivalent experience is required.

–  1 year to 2 years of commercial cooking experience is required

–  Basic in English is a must.
