Nanda Chicken is looking for Cooks!

 

Job Description:

– Position: Cook

– Employer: Nanda Chicken

– Work Location: 477 Wallace St A, Nanaimo, BC V9R 5B7

– Business Address: Same as above

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $20.00-$23.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

– Language: English

Job Duties:

– Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.

– Cook and package batches of food, such as fried chicken, which are prepared to order.

– Operate cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.

– Measure and prepare ingredients required for chicken sauces.

– Check inventory of ingredients and supplies.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of high school education is required.

– Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in this field OR Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program, college or other programs in cooking or food safety is required.
