Natural immix Health is looking for a Graphic Designer for a rapidly growing company to work in their graphic design department. Our ideal candidate will need to be reliable, creative, social, well written and an exceptionally strong communicator, with an interest in illustration and marketing. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to business-focused design work, and are now looking for a Graphic Designer who is highly creative, hardworking, and detail-oriented to join our close-knit, collaborative group. The ideal candidate is creative, flexible, and easy-going with a passion for the visual arts and branding.

As a graphic designer, you are able to conceptualize ideas graphically with minimal instruction, excel at visual storytelling and art direction of content. This includes designing presentations, creating infographics, visuals for social media, and, when necessary, coordinating with other designers, production artists, freelancers, photographers, illustrators, prepress technicians and printers. Skills and Characteristics:

  • Experience in Web Design and Graphic Design
  • Proficiency in Adobe’s creative suite, primarily Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A good understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout and typography in both print and digital media
  • Savvy and knowledgeable about current marketing trends and technologies
  • Strong applied knowledge of impactful and concise design layouts, forms, and typography for print and web applications
  • Knowledge of design theory (typography, colour theory etc.)
  • Highly creative, strategic thinker with ability to develop fresh, executable ideas
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to effectively manage multiple assignments in a short turnaround time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when applied to marketing and brand communications

Responsibilities:

  • Work with design in integrating packaging concepts into product briefs
  • Work with different regions to better understand global packaging requirements
  • Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes on the resources needed
  • Coordinate with all necessary suppliers
  • Assist with any visual graphics and images designs
  • Create packaging designs and ensure all designs are within budget
  • Create designs for executive and company-wide presentations, infographics, social media, and internal marketing initiatives
  • Creating beautiful, user-friendly, landing page templates
  • Develop tactics that bring creative concepts to life and achieve objectives
  • Participate in design innovation by recommending new technologies, techniques, and creative approaches
  • Manipulate graphic and vector images with an artistic flare for internal brand development
  • Use editing software to optimize external images for promotional purposes
  • Consistently follow and upgrade company brand guidelines
  • Review and improve existing creative assets (company presentations, templates, graphics, images etc.)
  • Develop a creative plan to support ongoing communications and marketing campaign activities
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
  • Working with a wide range of media, including photography, illustration and computer-aided design
  • Working on design layouts and other design materials intended for print
  • Monitoring print and material quality for received design samples and creating instructions on what needs to be adjusted and fixed
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
  • Documenting and archiving the company’s design output in the most accessible manner
  • Delivering requested graphic and finalized design materials to contacts as requested by the marketing team
  • Plan, create and review the design used for the company website including but not limited to product graphics, banners, and templates to maximize the marketing activities
  • Work with IT personnel to plan/create designs for the website
  • Design printable designs for the company such as brochures, product information/spec sheets, and other company designs
  • Report the current and previous projects with the manager to check the progress
  • Increase our brand awareness and sales by attracting more visitors to our online store and converting these them into buyers
  • Conceptualize and produce graphic art and visual materials to effectively communicate information for publications, advertising, films, packaging, posters, signs, and interactive media such as web sites
  • Support the overall marketing objectives of the company both externally and internally
  • Responsible for the products photo shooting and ensuring photo quality is consistent with our brand
  • Follows brand standards according to the brand style guide, including appropriate use of logo, trademark, colors, and design elements
  • Liaises with staff when required to assess needs and discuss strategies, tools, best practices, and requirements for design
  • Create engaging design layouts and marketing materials for a wide variety of branded promotional graphics in digital and print media, including (ads, newsletters, social media graphics, store banners, catalogs, and more). You must be able to work from pre-existing brand aesthetics
  • Create visually stunning product renders, label mockups, and photo edits
  • Collaborate with management to edit complex label files for over 100 label SKUs with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines
  • Accommodate customer requests for branded sales/marketing materials under tight timelines
  • Create/collaborate on various digital campaigns and evaluate analytics and ROI to generate actionable reports on recommended content /promotions
  • Create and manage multiple label file outputs and label content preparations used by marketing, print production, operations, and international clients
  • Immerse yourself in the supplement and health industry while learning and applying knowledge about the benefits of supplement ingredients
  • Maintain up-to-date and active knowledge of FDA and Health Canada label regulations

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of graphic design experience preferably within a related field
  • Fluidity with both Mac and PC
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)

Bonus Skills:

  • Bilingual in both Korean and English
  • Degree or Diploma in Arts, Fine Arts, Web/Graphic Design, Advertising/Public Relations
  • Understanding color theory
  • Understanding HTML, CSS, PHP, Flash and JavaScript
  • Experience with print standards
