Overview
We are currently seeking 2 full-time kitchen helpers to join the Opa of Greece team in downtown Calgary. Food court environment and decent tips. Comprehensive training will be provided. Please note that this is a very fast paced environment, and you will constantly be on your feet.
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
· Prepare the food for chef, including washing, cutting, peeling vegetables and fruit
· Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
· Sharpen knives in the kitchen
· Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
· Remove kitchen garbage and trash
· Maintain the kitchen floor area safe and clean, including sweeping, moping, washing and polish floors
Qualifications:
· Education: not required
· Experience: training will be provided
Working Conditions:
· Fast-paced environment
· Physically demanding
· Repetitive tasks
· Standing for extended periods
Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: $15 per hour, 35-40 hours per week
Schedule:
· Day shift
· Monday to Friday
· Weekends as needed
