Tasks
Establish methods to meet work schedules, Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Supervise and check assembly of trays, Establish work schedules, Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, Keep records of the quantities of food used, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, Take customers’ orders, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
