Overview

Tasks:

• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit;
• Cook rice
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Handle and store cleaning products
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Assist with wrapping sushi
• Other duties as instructed by the owner

Working environment: Fast-paced environment; Handling heavy loads; Repetitive tasks; Standing for extended periods; Early Morning, On Call, Shift, Weekend

Requirements:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; Basic English communication skill; Experience an asset; Being reliable and can work for at least one year; hard-working; Own transportation; Valid driver license; Own car.

Salary: 15.2/hour plus bonus, 30-40 hours a week
