Overview

Park Inland Restaurants (Westbank) Ltd. o/a Wendy’s is looking for a permanent, full-time Assistant Manager to join our busy team!

 

Position: Assistant Manager (NOC: 60030)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Flexible hours

Hourly Wage: $25.00  – $27.00 per hour

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 2330 Highway 97, South suite 202 Westbank BC V4T 2P3

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

·       Research new wholesale food suppliers and negotiate prices

·       Calculate future needs in kitchenware and equipment and place orders, as needed

·       Manage and store vendors’ contracts and invoices

·       Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff

·       Prepare shift schedules

·       Process payroll for all restaurant staff

·       Supervise kitchen and wait staff and provide assistance, as needed

·       Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues

·       Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings and ordering uniforms)

·       Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

·       Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus

·       Manage restaurant’s promotional events

 

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

·       College diploma or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management or equivalent work experience

·       2-3 years of work experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience

·       Ability to build and maintain a good relationship with customers

·       Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills

·       Organized; Client focus; Excellent communication skills
