Overview
A family of four in Fort Saskatchewan is currently looking for an experienced caregiver to look after their two children ages 11 and 1.5 yrs. The caregiver is expected to stay-in as the man of the house only comes home during weekends and selected holidays.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Supervise and Care for the baby throughout the day while both parents are working including but not limited to:
Preparing and feeding nutritious meals
Bathing / dressing up the baby
Ensures vitamins and medications (if any – when sick) are administered
Keeps the baby’s personal hygiene
Organize activities for baby such as daily walks, indoor games, reading books, engaging in sensory activities, etc
Ensure the well-being of the baby and is able to avoid stressful circumstances
Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities of both children
Observes and reports any changes in the health or physical well-being
Responding to emergency situations
Maintains safe and clean environment in the home
May perform some housekeeping and cleaning duties
Personal Attributes:
Trustworthy and honest
Reliable and can make sound decisions while the parents are away
Excellent communication skills
Flexible with the work hours and is able to monitor the child at night if needed
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
Has completed Caregiver Training Course
Standard First Aid & basic life support with AED Training
Other Requirements:
Criminal record check
Speaks Tagalog

Education: at least Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Experience in childcare facility is a must or equivalent experience
