Overview

Q10 Quickbeauty Enterprise Inc. (dba HC Express Hair Studio) is seeking a Master Hairstylist to join the team.

Permanent, Full-Time (30 hours per week). Shifts will be scheduled between 10AM and 8PM daily, as needed. $40.00 per hour plus tips OR tips earned plus 25% commission based on the number of clients served per day and products sold. 4% pay in lieu of vacation days.

Duties:
– Perform complex and precision haircuts tailored to clients’ facial features, hair type, and preferences;
– Apply advanced hair colouring techniques, including balayage, ombre, highlights, and corrective colour;
– Mix and apply hair or toner formulations to achieve desired shades;
– Conduct specialized treatment such as perming and smoothing;
– Provide consultation to clients to understand their needs and scalp health;
– Offer expert advice on hairstyles, colour, and treatment
– Train and mentor junior stylists, share techniques and theory, and other industry knowledge;
– Recommend and sell hair products based on client needs;
– Undertake additional training as required;
– Assist with supervising junior stylists, manage scheduling, and client assignment when necessary.

Requirements:
– Must have completed an apprenticeship or college program in hairstyling plus on the job training OR have a minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in the industry if no formal hairstyling training or education;
– English language ability is required.
