Overview

Fulltime & permanent position available for a suitable candidate with a minimum one year experience in food preparation/services or similar service industry Supervisory roles OR completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management.

START DATE : As soon as possible

WAGE RATE : $20.50/ hour + performance based bonus & commission.

HOURS OF WORK: Average 35-40 Hours per week

WORK TIMINGS: Varying shifts including day, early morning, evening, morning, night, on Call, overtime(occassionally), weekend & stat holiday.

JOB DETAILS:
Suitable for a customer-oriented team player with efficient interpersonal skills.
Food Safe Certification mandatory.
Must be able to communicate well in English.
Driving License & own vehicle is an asset ; public transportation is available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare Staff shift schedules and establish methods to meet work schedules.
Supervise(staff of 5-10 people) and co-ordinate activities of employees to promote efficiency ofoperations.
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies.
Assist in hiring food service staff.
Ensure food service and quality control standards.
Be customer service oriented and address customers’ complaints or concerns efficiently.
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Prepare and submit reports.
