Rama Gaming House – Scarborough is actively looking to hire 1 Guest Service Supervisor for a permanent, full-time position to work in our Scarborough location located at 991 Kennedy Road, Scarborough, ON, M1P 2K5.

Rama Gaming House is a fun exciting local gaming establishment that includes Vegas Style Games, entertainment, music, and a new restaurant specializing in modern comfort food!  We started as a traditional Bingo Hall over 30 years ago and evolved into a full charitable gaming centre. Our mission is to support over 150 charities in our community and provide an extraordinary experience to all of our guests.

The Guest Service Supervisor shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following job tasks:

As a key team member, you will be required to learn all channels of the business – bingo, E-bingo games, gaming devices and Food and Beverage.

Job Duties:

Reporting to Senior Management, the Guest Service Supervisor is responsible for but not limited to:

·       Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments

·       Establish work schedules and procedures

·       Perform same duties as workers supervised

·       Prepare and submit reports

·       Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

·       Assist clients/guests with special needs

·       Co-ordinate, assign and review work

·       Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

·       Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery

·       Requisition materials and supplies

·       Supervision of 10-15 employees

·       Ensure best practices are employed, play an active role in recommending new processes and training – monitoring staff to ensure policy and procedures are always followed.

·       Take an active role in business planning by engaging all levels of the operations team to obtain a deeper understanding of the business.

·       Maintain a system of internal controls under which to ensure that all business risks are identified and mitigated in a cost-effective manner.

·       Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and control protocols.

·       Performs other duties as may be assigned and various special projects.

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities:

·       Attention to detail,  Fast-paced environment, large workload, Overtime required, Standing for extended periods, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure

Skills, Experience and Education Required:

·       Secondary school certificate or equivalence

·       1 Year experience in a supervisory or managerial position

Required Work Cards/Licenses/Certificates:

·       Employee gaming license, Smart Serve

Wage & Hours: $22.00 per hour plus tips. 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Day shift, Night shift, Weekends

Benefits: Direct payment flex plan of $1,600.00 per year.
