Hiring a Food Service Supervisor (Japanese Restaurant, Full-Time)

 

Nubo Kitchen + Bar, at 490 Pandora Ave, Victoria is looking for a Food Service Supervisor

 

Salary: $17.00/Hourly

Job Type: Full-Time, 40hrs/wk, Permanent

Position Available: 1

Benefit: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross salary

 

Main duties:

Establish methods to meet work schedules

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

Estimate and order ingredients and supplies

Hire food service staff

Ensure food service and quality control

Address customers’ complaints or concerns

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

Prepare and submit reports

Establish work schedules

Take customers’ orders

Keep records of the quantities of food used

 

Requirements:

– Completion of Secondary School

– English is required

– 2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required or Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline
