Position: Barber
Employment Terms and Conditions: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Morning
Wage: $19.00-20.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 12100 Macleod Trail SE, Suite 107, Calgary, AB T2J 7G9
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Provide hairstyle suggestions
· Cut, trim and may dye hair according to client’s instructions
· Shave, trim and shape client’s beards and moustaches
· Shampoo and condition customers’ hair
· Provide hair treatments when needed
· Style hair using chemical solutions and styling products and tools
· Clean and sanitize scissors, combs, razors and other instruments
· Book and confirm appointments
· Order supplies when needed
· Sweep up hair and keep the station clean
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
· Secondary (senior high) school Diploma; completion of required program/additional training certificate
· 7 months to less than 1 year of previous barber shop work experience
· Eligible to apply for a trade certification
· Sound knowledge of current hairstyles and trends
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills

· Physically capable of performing the required duties; repetitive tasks and work on flexible hours by shift;
