RENERY MART o/a CHATTERS CAFE RESTAURANT located at 4904-50th Avenue, Leduc, Alberta T9E 6W9 is accepting application for the position of ETHNIC FOOD COOK specializing in Filipino cuisine.
$17.25 per hour plus free meals, 40 hours per week, permanent, full-time, day, evening, weekend shift.
Completion of secondary education is required. 2 to 3 years work experience as a Restaurant cook is required. Ability to communicate in English is required. Knowledge of Filipino cuisine is an asset.
Job description: Prepare and cook complete Filipino meals or individual Filipino dishes and foods. Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies. Inspect kitchens and food service areas, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Order supplies and equipment. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Organize and manage buffets and banquets. Prepare Filipino dishes for catering.
