RENEREY MART LTD. o/a CHATTERS CAFE located at 4904-50th Avenue, Leduc, Alberta T9E 6W9 is accepting application for the position of FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR AND COOK
$18.65 per hour plus free meals, 35 hours per week, permanent, full-time, day, weekends.
Completion of secondary education is required. 2 years to less than 3 years work experience in the food service industry is required. Ability to communicate in English is required.
Job description: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion the food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Address customers’ complaints or concerns. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies. Ensure food service and quality control. Maintain records of stock. repairs, sales and wastage. Take customer’s order for take out over the phone. Coordinate with customers for catering and events. Prepare and submit reports. Supervise and check assembly of trays and orders.
ETHNIC FOOD COOK
$17.50 per hour, 35 hours per week, permanent, full-time.
Completion of secondary education is required. 2 to 3 years of work experience as a Cook in a restaurant is required. Experience in Filipino cuisine is an asset. Ability to communicate in English is required.
Job description:
Plan menus and estimate food ingredients for their realization. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Prepare and cook individual Filipino dishes as ordered, cook Filipino dishes for the buffet or for banquets. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Organize buffets and banquets. Determine the size of food portions and costs.
