RH Radiant Home is seeking three experienced Building Superintendents to join our team throughout the Metro Vancouver area.

This position is permanent, full-time; 40 hours per week; $24.00 per hour. Plus 4% vacation pay.

Duties:
– Conduct regular maintenance and small repairs and contact tradespersons for major repairs of heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems;
– Handle routine tasks such as painting and fixing drywall;
– Perform daily inspections on the building systems and address residents’ requests for small repairs;
– Keep track of supplies and equipment and purchase smaller items as needed;
– Ensure that security and safety protocols are followed throughout the property;
– May advertise vacancies, show apartments and offices to prospective tenants and collect rent;
– May process lease or rental applications, including completion of background and credit checks;
– May move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies;
– May supervise other workers.

Qualifications:
– Completion of secondary school is required;
–  Minimum of one-year maintenance related experience is required;
– Able to handle work under pressure in a very fast-paced environment;
– Building Operator Certificate or Journeyman/woman Certificate is an asset;
– English language ability is required.
