Live Haul class 1 Truck drivers with Forklift experience needed for Lower Mainland deliveries.
S.G.D. Transport ltd. 5-23100-129 Ave, Maple Ridge, BC, V2X 0M5. Is looking for drivers with class 1 license and class 7 forklift certification for lower mainland local pickup and deliveries of poultry. Nightshift average 10-12 hours shifts. Wages $27.00 per hour.  Languages; Understand and can commutate in English, read and write as required. Experience; Operate and drive standard transmissions, primarily straight trucks and trailer units to transport goods and materials mainly on local routes and short interurban routes. Perform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle such as condition of equipment, and loading and unloading of cargo. Perform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes and storage. Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting of goods. Keep the truck and trailer clean and wash after the load is unloaded. Communicate with dispatchers, Supervisors and others in charge of live haul. Extended health offered after a 3 months probationary period. Person has to be reliable, flexible and a team member.
