Overview

Safe Meat Inc. is seeking a Head Cook for its Vancouver location.

Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week), $34.62 per hour. Bonus is available based on sales performance.

Shifts could be scheduled during regular hours of operation between 8am and 8pm.

 

Duties:

– Cook Japanese food items for catering and wholesale sales;

– Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness;

– Maintain a clean kitchen;

– Supervise all food preparation;

– Provide training to new kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese cuisine techniques, and other matters.

 

Qualifications:

– Minimum 5 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;

– Previous experience with Japanese cuisine is an asset;

– English language ability required;

– Japanese language ability is an asset.
