As we expand our product line, we are seeking a knowledgeable and creative instant coffee extractor operator to join our team.

Job Summary: The instant coffee extractor operator will play a crucial role in developing and perfecting coffee blends inspired by the diverse coffee traditions of Yemen. This position requires a deep understanding of high end coffee machines, methods, tactile equipment, the coffee industry, regional coffee customs, and the ability to innovate with spices and techniques to enhance the coffee-making process. You will need to observe gauges, processing conditions and make adjustments to the machinery used, including monitoring cooking times, ingredient inputs, flow rates and temperature settings. We do not offer a simple press of a button coffee, but a true, complex and nuanced extraction-based experience rooted in the Yemeni coffee culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate our instant coffee extractors with a high degree of precision and technical ability, with the ability to:
i)               Observe gauges on pressure, temperature.

ii)             Adjust the complex methods and machinery and processing units we use to ensure the nuanced grinds are roasted to perfection, per the unique palates of the Yemeni coffee culture, bag and store the grinds or sell them directly after extracting as such.

Converting the coffee grades to different brewing grades, including traditional Yemeni slow brewing.
Conduct thorough research on the Yemeni coffee industry, including its history, cultural significance, and regional variations in coffee consumption. Remember, we go beyond offering a cup of coffee at our shop, but offer an experience for the customer on how we uniquely grind, extract, mix and blend the product for a niche experience.
Develop and experiment with unique coffee blends and mixes that reflect the traditional and modern coffee culture of Yemen. You may utilize your technical abilities as an instant coffee extractor and operator.
Create innovative spice combinations to enhance the flavor profiles of our coffee.
Collaborate with suppliers to source authentic Yemeni coffee beans and spices, and engage them based on the machinery we have on site to ensure the greatest complimentary service.
Work closely with the product development team to test and refine new coffee products.
Educate the team and customers on the unique qualities and preparation methods of our coffee.
Stay updated with current trends and advancements in the coffee industry, particularly those related to Yemeni coffee.
Ensure all coffee products meet the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
Conduct taste tests and gather feedback to continuously improve coffee blends and recipes.
Qualifications:

Knowledge on utilization of high end coffee machinery, processing units, and methodology.
Extensive knowledge of the Yemeni coffee industry, including its history, regional practices, and cultural significance.
Experience with high end Yemeni coffee culture, with a focus on creating unique blends and spice combinations.
Strong understanding of the different types of Yemeni coffee beans and their flavor profiles, how they interact with different types of pressure and heat.
Creativity and a passion for experimenting with new coffee recipes and preparation methods.
Excellent sensory evaluation skills to assess and enhance coffee quality and taste.
Strong research and analytical skills to stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and customers.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Prior experience in the coffee industry, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
