Santouka Kamei Canada Food Ltd. (dba Hokkaido Ramen Santouka) is seeking 3 Cooks for three locations:

Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week), $17.62 per hour. Plus extended health and bonus are available based on sales performance.
Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9am and 11pm as required.

Duties:

·       Cook everything on the menu;

·       Create ramen soup bases;

·       Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness;

·       Supervise all food preparation;

·       Provide training to new kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese ramen techniques, and other matters.

Qualifications:

·       Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;

·       Previous experience with Japanese Ramen cuisine is an asset;

·       Japanese language ability is an asset;

·       English language ability required.
