Job Description:

– Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

– Employer: Sunny Oakridge Enterprise Ltd. dba Little Oak Montessori

– Business Address: 5668 Heather St, Vancouver, BC V5Z 3M4

– Work Location: Same as above

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $20.00 per hour

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

– Language: English

Job Duties:

– Assist Early Childhood Educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.

– Assist Early Childhood Educators in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts.

– Perform housekeeping duties such stock snacks, tissues, and napkins

– Assist with proper eating, dressing and toilet habits

– Report to Early Childhood Educator written observation on children’s behaviour.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

– Experience: Experience an asset. No formal experience is required as on job training will be provided. But Early Childhood Educator Assistant License and Food Safe Certificate are required.
