Specific Skills:

  • Mix, pour, and spread materials assist heavy equipment operators
    Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
    Clean and pile salvaged materials
    Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
    Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
    Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
    Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
    Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
    Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
    Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Attention to detail

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
