Position: Food Service Supervisor

Position Available: 2

Wage: $18.50 – $20.50 per hour

Work Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)

Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross salary

Work Location: 230 COOK ST suite 107, Victoria, BC V8V 3X3

Benefit: Extended health care and dental care benefit after six months


Main Duties:

l  Oversee and supervise daily operations of the restaurant

l  Manage, schedule, assign, train and evaluate assigned restaurant staff

l  Ensure that food and service quality meets quality control standards, enforcing sanitation and safety standards in service areas

l  Resolve customers’ complaints or concerns

l  Maintain records of inventory, repairs, sales, and wastage

l  Prepare budgets and provide cost estimates

l  Perform other related duties as assigned



l  Minimum 2 years of experience in food preparation or customer service OR completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management

l  Completion of Secondary School

l  English is required

l  Knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres

l  Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure
