Job title: Kitchen Helper (NOC 65201)

Wage: $15.50 – $16.00 per hour for 30-40 hours a week

Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position

Location: 11044 82 Ave, Edmonton AB, T6G 0T2

Expected Start Date: ASAP

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Prepare the food ingredients as requested

·         Ensure all the vegetables and meats are fresh

·         Wash, peel and chop fruits and vegetables

·         Help in unloading and check the food deliveries

·         Load and unload the dishwasher

·         Wash the dishes and utensils

·         Clean the kitchen station all the time

·         Sweep and mop the kitchen floor

·         Make sure the kitchen equipment are well cleaned aft er use

·         Other duties as assigned

 

Work conditions and physical capabilities

·         Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods

 

Position Requirements and Qualifications

Ÿ   Completion of high school education

Ÿ   Will train

Ÿ   Previous experience/good understanding of Asian Cuisine will be an asset

Ÿ   Flexibility; Organized; Team player; Reliability

Ÿ    Morning, Day, Afternoon, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, To be determined
